Based in the neighbourhood of Ancoats, Manchester, Ancoats Coffee Company was founded in 2013, by founder Jamie Boland and now comprises a dynamic and passionate team. They do pastries too but the coffee is the focal point here.

Where passion meets coffee. ManCoCo specialises in hand roasting speciality coffees from around the world, generally in small batches from micro lots. All of the arabica coffee is sourced from single origin farms, estates or small farm cooperatives. The cafe is a quirky space in the railway arches, just off Deansgate.

They roast in small batches on the Loring S15, with the aim of presenting the clearest expression of each coffee’s natural characteristics! Founded by Josh and Oli, who both have a wealth of coffee knowledge including being a qualified AST and former UKBC finalist!

Founded by coffee connoisseurs and Q graders, James founded Heart & Graft in 2012 and set about learning the complex craft of roasting… in his garage! Keen to build something special in Manchester he started Heart & Graft in 2015 on a mission to make fantastic speciality coffee approachable and accessible.

Guy started Abe & Co from his garden after buying an Aillio Bullet. The actual idea was to roast coffee for himself and to enjoy geeking out, however after some of his friends tried his back garden coffee, orders started to come in. Guy’s biggest coffee passion is finding and roasting coffee, which coffee lovers can use to make coffee shop quality drinks at home.

We’ve opened 15 distinctively independent coffee shops (with more to come) where coffee lovers can drink 200 Degrees Coffee in its natural environment, served by our team of highly skilled baristas.

These guys serve up one of our fave roasters, Origin coffee roasters, from down in Cornwall. We experienced some of their coffee on a staycation a few years ago! Foundation is committed to sourcing and serving the finest quality speciality coffee. The development of their coffee recipes and rotation of single origins mean they are continually developing the end product.
