Eggnog Latte Recipe
An old time American xmas favourite. Eggnog. What even is Eggnog? Eggnog is a rich, creamy holiday drink traditionally made with milk, cream, sugar, beaten eggs, and spices like nutmeg. It's often served chilled.
Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 17ml brewed espresso (or use Moka Pot)
- 100ml milk, steamed and whisked
- 75ml eggnog
- Small pinch of ground nutmeg
- Small pinch of ground cinnamon
Method:
- Pour the espresso into a large mug (use 17g of RISE coffee)
- Heat and froth your milk using a milk frother or hand whisk (don't microwave) then add three quarters of it to your coffee.
- Add the eggnog (we use Prestons)
- Stir it all together and add the last quarter of frothy milk. Sprinkle the nutmeg and cinnamon on top of the milk and enjoy.
Pro Tip: Use an espresso roast for a robust flavour that balances well with the sweetness of eggnog.
