The Coffee
Established in 1933, Rancho Grande Farm, spanning 5 hectares, upholds a legacy of quality coffee production, led by Jose Carlos Reis and his son Flávio (Fafa) Reis. The farm, committed to environmental responsibility, also engages in dairy and meat farming, providing subsidized housing for its workers. The farm takes an experimental approach, incorporating pre-anaerobic fermentation and static drying boxes, which defy traditional expectations, resulting in exceptional cup quality. This Acaia lot undergoes wet milling, followed by 24 hours of cold air and 16 days of warm air in static boxes. After 35 days of stabilization, the coffee is milled, presenting a uniquely fruity profile, challenging the typical Brazilian natural coffee flavours.
